About Radboudumc DMPonline

Funding bodies increasingly require their grant holders to produce Data Management Plans (DMP). DMPonline is an online tool to help research teams write DMPs and to easily incorporate institutional resources and recommendations available to them.

Radboudumc adapted and customized DMPonline to provide Radboudumc researchers with tailored guidance about Radboudumc-specific tools, support and guidelines.

If you need more information about this tool or how to use it, please contact us by sending an email to datastewardship.im@radboudumc.nl

How the tool works

There are a number of templates within the tool that represent the requirements of different funders and institutions. When creating a new plan, users are asked a number of questions first so we can determine the appropriate template to display. For Radboudumc users, the “Radboudumc Data Management Plan” institutional template is mandatory, but also templates from other funders (i.e. the EU funders) can be selected, provided that the funder template is presented in the tool. The two Dutch funders ZonMw and NWO have approved the Radboudumc institutional template, so for these funders the Radboudumc institutional template must be used and templates from these funders should not be selected.

Guidance is provided to help you interpret and answer the questions. This guidance is provided by funders, and research support departments within Radboudumc.
